Hampton Court Costume Show

Yay i've finally reached the end of my degree! i'm really happy it's over, i wouldn't say these have been the best three years of my life it's been a really struggle. Sometimes i think life as a costume maker isn't for me, the girls in my class are amazing and they really put their all into their costumes. Where as i spend to much time having fun and not enough time hand sewing! its something you have to be really committed to and it takes a lot of work.
Basically its bloody hard! haha

I am very happy with my Horrockses inspired dress though, we recently had a show at Hampton court palace and I just wanted to share the photos. Some are stolen from fellow classmates Facebook photos so i hope they don't mind! it was a lovely day and my model Helen looked lovely, i hope i managed achieved an authentic look.

  3. Fabulous dress. Just such and exquisite cut and fit, with a perfect pattern.

All of your course made such cool costumes too. Love it! The variety is such fun. I adore them all, especially old Will Shakespeare and Ann Bolynn!
